Christopher Catt is celebrating receiving the Coaching for a Cause Award which was presented to him at the International Coaching Awards 2015, held a few weeks ago in Buckinghamshire.

The Awards were hosted by the UK’s leading coach training provider, The Coaching Academy.

Christopher was nominated by Plymouth Music Zone for his innovative work with members of their management team using a blend of Business Emotional Intelligence and coaching in leadership and development.

In 2012 Christopher Catt set up The Life Coach Station in Newton Abbot with its mission of developing people with disabilities to make it as successful business owners in their own right.

The Life Coach Station also provides straight talking, no nonsense consultancy on all disability issues in the workplace and is already recognised for its expertise across the South West of England and now, at an international level for its coaching work with people who have disabilities.

Christopher believes that his passion to make what he believes as a “real difference” for people with disabilities who want to set-up in business and reach their full potential as leaders and managers stems from his own attitude he has in how he deals with his own visual impairment.

“You have to play with the hand of cards you are dealt with to win” said Christopher.  “It also helps if you really understand what motivates you and how you can harness this energy to take action” adds Christopher.

“You need to believe in you if you want others to believe in you, but everyone has to start somewhere”.

For further information, Christopher can be contacted on either 01626 365317 or 07774 574 202.  The Life Coach Station’s web address is https://www.thelifecoachstation.co.uk and you can E-mail us at chris@thelifecoachstation.co.uk.
