Two brave teams from the Santander Exeter branch and Bodial Nutrition will push themselves to the limit at the Exeter Rock Solid Race to raise money for St Loye’s Foundation.

From shimmying under barbed wire in pools of mud to crawling through pitch black wet tunnels, Exeter Rock Solid Race, at Escot Park, is a challenge of courage and endurance. The teams are set to battle through obstacles at the race on March 21 and 22.

Community groups in Honiton came together in impressive numbers for an event organised by a partnership of organisations, led by East Devon District Council, at the Beehive Centre in Dowell Street.

Whoever said ‘it’s not a problem, but an opportunity’ might have been talking about Honiton’s reaction to the challenges the community faces as a result of budget cuts in the public sector and local services being under threat.
