The Society of Independent Brewers (SIBA) annual Beer Awards has named Salcombe Brewery’s Speyside Island Street Porter as the best beer of its kind in Britain. SIBA’s annual competition, held digitally for the first time, attracted entries of just under 500 beers from more than 180 different breweries, into 15 beer categories.

Devon is truly magnificent. At last night’s annual Food Drink Devon Awards the pinnacle of the county’s food and drink producers, hospitality businesses and speciality retailers celebrated in fantastic style at the Highbullen Hotel Golf & Country Club. The ceremony was hosted, for the fourth year running, by food and drink broadcaster Nigel Barden.

Food Drink Devon is delighted to announce that this year their prestigious award ceremony will be held on Monday 8th October 2018 at Highbullen Hotel Golf & Country Club, Umberleigh, North Devon and will be hosted by legendary broadcaster Nigel Barden.
