Exeter Northcott Theatre has announced that The Michael Bishop Foundation has granted £50,000 a year for the next three years in unrestricted funds.
The Michael Bishop Foundation supports a range of organisations across the arts, education and health sectors and was established in 1989 by Lord Glendonbrook.

Essential maintenance work is planned at the set of traffic signals on the junction of Fore Street, East Wonford Hill, Butts Rd and Whipton Lane in Exeter.
The work starts today (Wednesday 25 November 2015) and is expected to be completed on Friday 4 December 2015.
The traffic signals, poles and electrics, which are at the end of their serviceable lives, will be replaced in addition to repairs to cable ducting, where required.
Temporary traffic signals will be in place while the work is carried out and for its duration.
Scientists from the University of Exeter are warning of the risks that seismic surveys may pose to sea turtles. Widely used in marine oil and gas exploration, seismic surveys use airguns to produce sound waves that penetrate the sea floor to map oil and gas reserves.
The review, published in the journal Biological Conservation, found that compared to marine mammals and fish, turtles are largely ignored in terms of research attention and are often omitted from policy guidelines designed to mitigate the environmental risks of seismic surveys.
