Show times during the week are 5.00pm and 7.15pm Thursday and Friday, Saturday 2.00pm and 4.30pm, Sunday 1.30pm and 3.30pm.

Exeter Quay will once again be host to the City of Exeter Rowing Regatta on Saturday 9 July for a full day of sprint racing at the historic quayside.

Devon MP recognised in Dairy UK awards

Three dairy champions have been recognised for their hard work within the industry.

Heather Wheeler, MP for south Derbyshire and Neil Parish, MP for Tiverton and Honiton have both been awarded the annual Dairy UK award for their support of UK dairy farmers.

Heather Wheeler chairs the All-Party Parliamentary Group (APPG) on Dairy. Neil Parish chairs the Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (EFRA) Select Committee and is former chair of the Dairy APPG.

Devon Contract Waste signs £2.5m Princess Yachts deal

An Exeter-based waste management business, Devon Contract Waste, has secured a contract with Princess Yachts worth around £2.5million to manage the British luxury yacht manufacturer’s waste for the next three years.

The new contract will mean the majority of the commercial waste collected from six of Princess Yachts’ Plymouth sites – home to 2,050 staff – will be managed by Devon Contract Waste’s Zero to Landfill service which is unique in the South West. A sight loss charity in Exeter is holding sessions on how to use the internet in the upcoming weeks.

The Royal National Institute of Bling People (RNIB) is a charity set up to support those with sight loss, and with their online today project.

76 percent of adults now access the internet everyday as found in 2014 compared to 38 percent in 2012.

The project will provide 125,000 people with the knowledge of how to get online and use the necessary technology to enable them to make the most of the internet.

Devon beaver mascot named

A competition held by the charity Devon Wildlife Trust to find a name for its beaver mascot has revealed a winner. ‘Nora’, is the name chosen for the six-foot tall mascot which is being used by the charity to promote its work for England’s only breeding population of wild beavers which live on the River Otter, East Devon.

The name, which plays on the rodents’ habit of gnawing on riverside trees and plants, was the idea of Sidmouth shop owner Karen Greenslade.

Appeal to trace missing man

A family are looking for a 47 Year old man who has gone missing.

Steve Rose from Chesterfield in Derbyshire was last seen in Exeter on 16 June 2016.

His family and friends are appealing to anyone who have seen him or may know where he is.

The public are urged to contact the police by calling 101 if they have any information.
