Police are investigating a burglary which took place at a property on Lonsdale Road, Newton Abbot on Sunday 28th August 2016 at around 2am.
The offender or offenders appear to have been disturbed while inside the dwelling. The items stolen were a black handbag with dark blue Aspinal wallet and a purse inside.
Detective Constable Rich Jones said: “We wish to speak to anyone who may have seen or heard anyone acting suspiciously in the area at this time.
“We want to hear from you if you have any information about this incident.”

Women have a 50% higher chance than men of receiving the wrong initial diagnosis following a heart attack, according to a new study part-funded by the British Heart Foundation (BHF).
The research, carried out at the University of Leeds, using the UK national heart attack register MINAP2, found that overall, almost one-third (29.9%) of patients had an initial diagnosis which differed from their final diagnosis.

At around 5.25pm on Friday 26th August, Police were informed of a head-on collision between a red Skoda Fabia and a blue Ford Mondeo. This took place just past the Bolham roundabout, prior to the A361 crossing the Mill Leat and the River Exe the carriageway.

The Hospital Saturday Fund’s donation will benefit 20 students in their fifth and final year as they go on placements known as electives. This is Gemini, the two-year-old fur seal pup at Living Coasts, Torquay’s coastal zoo. Her new toy was custom made by dry suit manufacturers O'Three Ltd. of Portland, in Dorset.
Kiesha Summers, from O'Three, explained: “We supplied Living Coasts with dry suits. When we came to visit, both the penguins and Gemini were fascinated by the neoprene hoods – and this gave us an idea. Our clever seamstresses covered a football in 1.5mm double lined Neoprene with a small Velcro opening for a pump.”
