Exeter’s Queen St. Dining will introduce a taste of Scandinavia to the region when KuPP opens its doors on 29th October.
Inspired by cuisine from Denmark, Finland, Norway and Sweden, KuPP is the seventh restaurant to launch in the city’s new £12m dining destination. It will join Turtle Bay, Gourmet Burger Kitchen (GBK), The Stable, Absurd Bird, The Terrace and Comptoir Libanais.
Exeter is Kupp’s first branch outside of London and will open opposite Absurd Bird at Queen St. Dining.

A special gathering of former Exeter City players will take place at the home match with Cambridge United this Saturday (22 October).
The event is being held thanks to the Heritage Lottery Fund backed project on the history of St James Park. The project is being led by the University of Exeter in partnership with the Exeter City History Group set up by the Supporters Trust.
Around 50 former players are expected to attend and will be sharing their memories with the project team as well as being presented to the crowd at half-time.

Police and Crime Commissioner Alison Hernandez and Chief Constable Shaun Sawyer, the National Police Chiefs' Council Lead on Modern Slavery, have welcomed today’s news that the Home Secretary is backing their bid for extra resources to tackle modern slavery. The Royal Devon and Exeter NHS Foundation Trust has become the new provider at Honiton Minor Injuries Unit (MIU).
The Trust is running the service, based at Honiton Community Hospital, for a 12-month period. The MIU was previously run by Northern Devon Healthcare Trust. Highly qualified nurse practitioners with expertise in treating a whole range of minor injuries will staff the unit.

Police were called following reports of the alarms going off at the Banburys Store in Gold Street, Tiverton, at around 4.15am today (18 October).
It appears that a saloon-type car was used to force the doors to gain access to the store. People wearing balaclavas managed to steal vast quantities of perfume before fleeing the area in the same vehicle up Bampton Street.
