As the world goes flower-crazy with the start of the RHS Chelsea Flower Show later this month, Exeter is set to get its own exciting touch of floral glamour with the launch of the first ever Exeter Floral Trail on 22-24 May.

The Devon County Show - held on May 17-19 at Westpoint showground, Exeter - is running a baking competition for the first time alongside its traditional classes for livestock, horses, cheese and cider, amongst others. More than 30,000 handcrafted red poppies made to mark the centenary of the First World War at the Devon County Show will go on display at Exeter Cathedral.
The exhibition opens on Monday (October 30) and runs until Tuesday, November 14.
