The Donkey Sanctuary Sidmouth will reopen to visitors on Monday 17 May, with the launch of a new family activity trail.
The new trail, 'An Adorably Curious Adventure', gives visitors the chance to explore the sanctuary and discover the A-Z of fun donkey facts, while completing trail activities along the way.

The three South West zoos run by regional conservation charity Wild Planet Trust have a defiant message for coronavirus: “It’s business as usual”.
Staff and volunteers are prepared for the impact of coronavirus, but at this time the charity zoos remain open. Zoo spokesperson Phil Knowling said: “We’re monitoring the situation closely and will naturally continue to follow the advice of Public Health England and the Government. We will close if directed or if we no longer have the people to operate safely, but right now WE ARE OPEN!

The charity zoo has its very own branded blend – Zoorabica. It’s the first time the charity has offered its own named coffee. The new beverage is supplied by Coffeeworks, based in Exeter, an independent company with over 20 years’ experience.
Paignton Zoo Group Catering Manager Jennifer Proctor, who helped choose the final blend, said: “We have gone for this new blend because of taste, price, the support that Coffeeworks offer and the training they provide.” She visited the family-owned roasting business in Bristol to select the coffee.

There’s something for all the family at Newton Abbot Racecourse this Sunday, 22 July as they prepare for their ever-popular Family Raceday.
Not only are there seven races on the card for horseracing fans, but they will also be joined by Plymouth Albion star, Eoghan Grace, and his team of coaches in the Family Enclosure who will be running a series of fun rugby games for children.
But that’s not all, children will also be able to enjoy free face painting, balloon modelling and a spot of magic in the Family Enclosure between 2pm and 4:30pm.
