Crealy's Twister rollercoaster opens

The eagerly awaited Twister rollercoaster at Devon’s Crealy Great Adventure Park officially opens today (Thursday 23 July 2015).

Chris and Katie Down together with their three children will jointly open the park’s latest addition and welcome guests to enjoy the new ride.

The Twister rollercoaster is the biggest ride to be built at Crealy to date and has seen the largest investment in a single ride in over 5 years. Beach fun for the kids

Following a popular programme of activities last year, the National Trust rangers in East Devon are once again running free family activities each Wednesdays of the summer holiday at Branscombe. With an extended list of events, including kite making and den building, Wild Wednesdays looks set to be even more successful than last year. Exeter’s Summer Film School will be held at Poltimore House from 3 – 7 August.

It offers children aged between 10 and 13 a unique opportunity to create their own short film. Exeter based theatre company Four of Swords is not pausing for breath after two weeks of sold-out performances of Jason and The Argonauts at Exmouth Festival.

The company is reprising its Arthurian legend based family blockbuster Gawain and The Green Knight from 8 - 11 July at Poltimore House, the atmospheric semi-derelict country house on the outskirts of Exeter.
