The eagerly awaited Twister rollercoaster at Devon’s Crealy Great Adventure Park officially opens today (Thursday 23 July 2015).

Chris and Katie Down together with their three children will jointly open the park’s latest addition and welcome guests to enjoy the new ride.

The Twister rollercoaster is the biggest ride to be built at Crealy to date and has seen the largest investment in a single ride in over 5 years. The new rollercoaster will feature 310 metres of winding track and will stand 12 metres high, offering fantastic views across the park and thrills and spills galore.

The Twister will be located next to one of Crealy’s popular rides, the Vortex.  Designed for riders over 120cm tall, the new rollercoaster adds something extra for older children visiting the park, providing fun for the whole family. The decision to introduce a new ride follows invaluable feedback from the guests.

Chris Down, managing director of Devon’s Crealy Great Adventure Park said: “The Twister is here! We can’t wait to share our newest ride with our guests. It’s been an exciting process watching the ride being built and now it’s finished. We look forward to welcoming new and returning guests to Crealy this summer for a day out with a twist!”

The summer at Crealy is set to be full of excitement and adventure, with an action packed calendar of fantastic character events set to keep the whole family entertained. With personal appearances and mini shows from a host of popular children’s TV characters including; Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Titan the Robot, Peppa Pig, Superman, Batman, Captain America, Spiderman and Ben and Holly.

Devon’s Crealy Great Adventure Park boasts over 100 acres of fun in the beautiful Easter Devon countryside. With over 60 rides and attractions to seek and explore, there really is no better place for a Crealy great adventure this summer.
