RGB Building Supplies raised £2,150 for Children’s Hospice South West during its charity breakfast morning on Friday 3rd November.
The event saw visitors to RGB’s Exeter branch make a donation in return for a bacon roll with 100% of the proceeds being donated to the charity.

A Senior Lecturer at the University of Exeter Medical School, who is due to undergo chemotherapy, has cut off her long hair in aid of a children’s cancer charity close to her heart.
Dr Rachel Palfrey, 46, from Plymouth, has donated 30cms of her hair to the Little Princess Trust – a charity which provides real-hair wigs for children who have lost their hair due to the effects of chemotherapy and other illnesses.
Dr Palfrey was diagnosed with ovarian cancer in October of this year, and will be starting chemotherapy within the next few weeks.
The second day of the Christmas Tree Festival open from 11am to 6pm. This year there are more than 70 trees decorated by local charities, clubs, associations and groups. The Cafe will be open from 10am to 4pm for drinks and food. Admission is FREE, there is disabled access and free parking.
