Management innovation firm KnowledgeBrief has recently enjoyed a period of rapid growth, following the launch of a Public Service Innovation Group .

Quick to join the PSI Group were the National Audit Office, Bristol City Council, Cafcass, the Environment Agency, amongst several others.

Exeter Junior Chamber, part of Exeter Chamber of Commerce, is holding its next event at Exeter Library on Tuesday 21 October, 4pm-6pm. The event will be a training session with Business Coach Judy Salmon on how to ‘manage and present well at meetings’.

The training session, aimed at young professionals aged between 20-35 years old, will cover important aspects of presenting at meetings including how to communicate effectively, structure information and ensure success.

New scheme to cut city congestion

A new scheme aimed at cutting congestion in Exeter is set to launch to businesses on the 22 October at Exeter Chamber’s monthly networking lunch.

Exeter Chamber of Commerce and Devon County Council are working together to make Exeter a more sustainable city along with Exeter Chamber’s sub group ESBN (Exeter Sustainable Business Network).

By launching the new scheme together it is hoped that all three will be able to interact with local organisations, building a wider network and greater awareness for the scheme from environmentally conscious companies.

First anniversary for social media cafe

The Teignmouth and Dawlish Social Media Cafe is one year old this October.

Over the past year it has helped over 50 local businesses and community organisations with help and advice in using social media to promote themselves.

The birthday cafe will be held at the Langstone Cliff Hotel in Dawlish on Tuesday 7 October and experts will be on hand to provide advice on which social media to use and how to set up accounts.
