Trowers & Hamlins is pleased to announce that associate Jenny Standfast has joined the firm's Exeter office, effective from November 2014.

Previously based in Trowers & Hamlins' London office, Jenny is a property litigation specialist who acts for pension funds, property investment trusts and companies, local authorities, registered providers and individuals in relation to commercial property (shopping centres, industrial parks and offices), residential property and development sites.

She advises on a range of property matters including issues relating to the Landlord & Tenant Act 1954, dilapidations, break notices, recovery of rent and service charge arrears, landlords' consents, telecommunications, squatters and adverse possession and all aspects of residential housing management. She has also provided advice in relation to rights to light, easements, restrictive covenants and rent reviews.

Jenny joined Trowers & Hamlins in 2008, having also completed her training at the firm.

Joseph Acton, managing partner of Trowers & Hamlins' Exeter office, commented:  "It is with great pleasure that we welcome Jenny to Exeter.  Her knowledge and expertise will help us further strengthen our existing property litigation practice and enable us to better meet the needs of our clients."

Trowers & Hamlins' property litigation team has extensive experience acting for both public sector and commercial clients on a wide range of property related disputes.  They have advised on disputes in the High Court and County Court and in the leasehold valuation tribunal.

In addition, the team is highly skilled in all forms of alternative dispute resolution, including mediation and arbitration. Lawyers in the team work closely with the firm's housing and commercial property departments to offer an efficient and cost-effective service.
In addition to property litigation, Trowers & Hamlins' Exeter office offers specialist legal services in real estate, housing, and construction.

The firm's clients benefit from local advice from a national firm, with its lawyers able to draw on expertise from colleagues across the UK.
