Record turn out for Sandy Park B2B Breakfast event

More than 80 people turned out for the latest B2B Breakfast at Sandy Park, which is fast becoming one of Exeter's fastest growing networking opportunities.

Representatives from some of Devon and Cornwall's leading businesses attended the latest event at the rugby club's award-winning ground.

The speakers were Marc Astley (pictured) and Dan Pritchard from marketing and PR firm Astley Media and Keiron Northcott, a trustee of the Chief's charity the Exeter Foundation.

More volunteer mentors needed to help unemployed start up new businesses

Volunteer business mentors will have helped 1,000 unemployed people across Devon and Cornwall to start their own businesses by this summer, according to Business Information Point (BIP). However, this target can only be reached if more volunteer business mentors step forward.
