Leading Women UK South Hams Election Special

In the lead up to the 2015 General Election, Leading Women UK hosted a series of Election Special networking events across Devon.

These events were open to men and women and gave attendees the chance to have their questions answered by a panel of political representatives.

Crowdcube, the investment crowdfunding platform, is set for its best year ever following a stellar first quarter, which saw 36 businesses raise £17.5 million and £24 million invested through the site.

Devon business boom as record number of entrepreneurs start up

Devon has smashed the record for the number of new businesses launched in the area in a single year, according to new research. Statistics, compiled by www.informdirect.co.uk , have revealed that there were 5,501 companies formed in 2014, up from a previous best of 5,280. This brings the total number of businesses operating in the region to a high of 42,661.
