Burrington Estates New Homes Site Manager, Marinko Tomic, has won the prestigious National House Building Council (NHBC) Seal of Excellence Award within the Small House Builder Category, for his quality of work and attention to detail at the company’s Seaward Park, Clyst St George development - following his Pride in the Job award win earlier in the year.

Killerton Estate in Devon walked away with the top Overall Drinks Award at the National Trust’s annual Fine Farm Produce Awards, presented at BBC Countryfile Live in the grounds of Blenheim Palace. Action on Hearing Loss award remembers ‘wonderful’ volunteer

A much-loved volunteer for national charity Action on Hearing Loss was posthumously awarded the Passion in Action accolade for her dedication to the cause.

Enid Radford, fondly known as D, has been an information stand volunteer for the charity in Exeter since 2008, but she sadly passed away earlier this year.

Exeter School pupils studying Design Technology have enjoyed investigating the possibilities of 3D printing to make cast statuettes for a new Exeter School prize. Year 9 pupils have cast silicon moulds from 3D printed masters to cast the statuettes in the form of the ‘Blue Boy’. Local renewables company, Beco, have recently been commended for their work at the Energy Efficiency and Healthy Homes Awards 2017.
