A survey of over 300 leaders of tech SMEs across the Southwest has revealed the extent of the sectors resilience throughout the pandemic and its rude health as we emerge from the clutches of the pandemic.

There were more than 8,600 data breaches between 2005 and 2018, exposing more than a billion private information of US citizens. The RSPCA has launched a new rehoming campaign to help find alternative homes for ‘farm cats’ in the South West who prefer the great outdoors.

The Tour of Britain may only fleetingly race through communities as it makes its way through Devon, but it has left a much longer-lasting legacy in many parts of the county.

Since The Tour first sped into Devon in 2007, the county has provided the setting for some of the most exciting moments in The Tour's history.

Report highlights positive signs of recovery

A new report from Devon County Council has highlighted that while the economic impact of the coronavirus pandemic has been more widespread across Devon than previous recessions, there are positive signs of recovery.

Devon’s economy shrunk by almost 10% last year - in line with the UK average, but future recovery is expected to be a “mixed picture” in the county.
