The scheme, which is a joint initiative between Devon County , Teignbridge District and Dawlish Town Councils , is taking shape, with the removal of the wall, shelter and large shrubs visually opening The Lawns up to The Strand.
Large sections of the Yorkstone paving and granite kerbs have been laid along The Lawns side, together with the installation of new Granite kerbs and drainage.
Work is also underway outside of the shops, at the west end of The Strand. As work increases in this area...
Being at the very well attended and totally indulgent Venus Awards Nomination Launch Event this week, hosted by Tara Howard, Founder, and Celia Delaney, Speaking Success, created to recognise Local Business Women http://devon.venusawards.co.uk/ , we were spoilt for choice – massage, mini cup cakes or Choccie Bar? Although we strenuously resisted it, we were drawn to the free samples of delightful handmade chocolates courtesy of chocolatier Katie Jones and her company Choccie Bar. With beautiful hand crafted chocolate stirrers, heart-shaped lollipops and stunningly decorated Easter eggs, it...
Long-serving No.8 Richard Baxter believes that Exeter Chiefs are still learning in the Aviva Premiership and that is key to their future in the top flight.

“Full credit to Leicester, they were able to grind out the result better than we did,” said Baxter afterwards. “At the moment we’re striving...

The congregations of the churches, numbering around 100 dedicated people, want to concentrate their attention on working in the wider community to care for the spiritual and pastoral needs of people rather than putting all their limited resources into the upkeep of their buildings.
Trevor Gardner Associates, who carried out the study, were asked to look at the repairs needed to the...

There has been a change to departure times for the Devon Derby against Plymouth Argyle on Saturday 30 March.
Fans that are travelling using the Grecian Travel coach service to Home Park this weekend should note that coaches will depart Arena Nightclub on Summerland Street at 10.30am, rather than 11am as originally stated.
The decision has been taken on the advice of the Devon & Cornwall Police. People that are getting on the coach at other collection points should also arrive 30 minutes earlier than previously advised.
