West Exe thrilled with best ever GCSE results

West Exe Technology College is today celebrating its best ever GCSE results and staff and Governors are looking forward to sharing their pride and delight with students when they collect their individual results tomorrow.

A fantastic 65% of students achieved 5 or more GCSEs at A*- C grade including English and Maths and a staggering 92% achieved 5+ A*- C grades. The WHOTT Historic Bus and Commercial Vehicle Rally

Together at Westpoint is a fantastic summer event - a place to come into the presence of God and learn, love and go alongside hundreds of his people.

Newfrontiers Churches from the South and South West are holding their annual bible weekend at Westpoint from 22 - 25 August. They expect to see 2,000 adults, young people and children attend, with main meetings in the Arena and camping on site.

There will be a wide and varied programme of events across the weekend including: Sports and Games, Big Meetings, Prayer, Fantastic Childrens Activities, Guest Speakers and Worship...

All time high GCSE results for Exeter School

46.9% of grades A* and 80.3% of grades A* or A Exeter School pupils, parents and staff are celebrating another round of consistently good GCSE results which have set two new records in excellence. 46.9% of all grades were A*, beating last year’s record of 46.5%, and 80.3% were A* or A grades, compared to last year’s 75.5%. 99.5% of grades were A* - C. Interactive art takes to Exeter’s streets

An interactive map with embedded digital codes is giving the people of Exeter the chance to engage in some playful activities in city centre streets. Whether accepting the invitation to ‘Be Neighbourly’, ‘Hold Something Dear’ or ‘Street Dance’, participants are using the beautifully designed map to explore the urban environment in new and immersive ways.

The recent project known as This City’s Centre , created by the collective Blind Ditch, has been causing quite a stir in Exeter as it is getting residents to question what lies behind their city centre.
