The Networking Hub is a free B2B networking event hosted by Basepoint in our business centres across the country. The events are open to all kinds of businesses and our aim is to give all those that attend the opportunity to meet new people, to build on existing business relationships and to generate new leads.

Police renew appeal for witnesses following lorry collision on A30

At approximately 6.10am on Thursday 10 October a road traffic collision took place involving two lorries on the west bound A30 at Meldon Dip, near to Okehampton. A white Scania rigid goods vehicle was stationary in lane one of the dual carriageway, having broken down, and was struck to the rear by another large articulated goods vehicle. Devon Community Foundation celebrates its Volunteer of the Year Awards

Devon Community Foundation’s Volunteer of the Year Awards took place on Thursday 10 November at the RAMM in Exeter. Celebrating the outstanding work of volunteers and groups across Devon, the winners included Farming Community Network, Scoot-A-Long, Moorvision, Vocal Advocacy, HMS Heroes, Devon Rape Crisis Service and Crossroads Care Torbay.

Payhembury play park pepped up

A much-anticipated improvement to Payhembury’s play area has taken a step closer to completion now that local children have chosen their favourite design.

Payhembury Playing Field Committee and East Devon District Council have been working closely together with Payhembury Primary School to make £6,700 worth of improvements.
