A man has been arrested after attempting to enter Buckingham Palace with a knife today. The 44-year-old was caught immediately at the north centre gate by the Metropolitan Police and remains in custody. The man was searched and found to be in possession of a knife but no one has been injured. Buckingham Palace has said that the Queen was out of the building at the time of the incident.
