Princesshay will host the inaugural World Pancake Racing Championships on Shrove Tuesday (4 March).
Local businesses, organisations and individuals are now being invited to demonstrate their pancake flipping credentials by entering a team of between two and four members.

Collapsing beach huts, damaged seafronts and a washed away ice cream parlour have all been handled by Council staff in the recent work to clear the damage left by weeks of severe weather conditions.
