On Friday 17th October 2014 the Friends of Axhayes group held a charity pamper evening at the Cat & Fiddle Inn, Clyst St Mary, Nr Exeter. The doors opened at 6.45pm and treatments started at 7pm. Many local businesses provided short treatments such as mini facials, file and paint, hand & foot massages etc to help raise funds for Exeter Axhayes Cats Protection adoption centre. Last week's announcement that the Met Office plans to install a supercomputer in a new building complex at Exeter Science Park has been welcomed enthusiastically by leading members of East Devon District Council.
