The 1st Pinhoe Guides are holding a coffee morning and book sale to raise funds towards their trip to Switzerland later this year.

The event is being held at the Hall Church in Pinhoe on Saturday 24 January from 10am until noon.

There will also be cakes on sale and a raffle.

Meridian RAW, an Exeter-based social enterprise, has announced its first exhibition to celebrate completing the first year of one its projects.

Meridian RAW is a not-for-profit social enterprise that uses photography as an empowerment tool for marginalised communities and socially excluded individuals. The exhibition will take place at the Glorious Art House on Fore Street from Sunday 18th January until Friday 30th January.

Bus diversions tonight while Exeter High Street is closed for road repairs

Exeter High Street will be closed for two hours tonight (Friday 16 January), to allow for emergency highway repairs to be carried out.

The work starts at 8pm and is expected to be completed by 10pm.

While the road closure is in place, bus services will operate the following diversions:

Service A, towards Alphington, will commence from Cheeke Street, into the bus station to Paris Street. The service will divert via New North Road and then onto Queen Street, Paul Street, North Street, to South Street, then into Market Street, to resume a normal route from the junction...

Grab some glowsticks and join the first ever Exeter Neon Night Run!

The circular route 5k run on May 30 starts and ends at the University of Exeter where there will be light stations to pick up the neon colours.

Serious collision closes Woodbury road

Update 6.30pm: The B3180 has re-opened.

Police have closed the B3180 after a serious collision bewteen two cars earlier this afternoon.

The collision happened at the junction of Hulham Road, between Woodbury and Exmouth.

The road is closed in both directions and motorists are advised to avoid the area.

Police say the road is likely to remain closed for some time.
