Two years of hard work and perseverance has finally paid off for trainee solicitor Phil Kay who qualified as a solicitor with Veitch Penny last month.
The journey to solicitor was a particularly tough one for Phil who made the unusual and brave decision to simultaneously complete his Legal Practice Course (LPC) whilst undertaking his two-year training contract. Most people use their shed to store garden equipment, bicycles and even expensive power tools. Yet, often, sheds are fitted with inadequate locks, or no lock at all.
Since June last year, over seventy-one victims in South Devon had their sheds broken into and property stolen. Almost half of these occurred in Teignbridge.

New figures reveal that over £2.9 million of National Lottery funding was invested in Exeter projects last year alone. Across the city, 49 grants were awarded last year; benefiting local arts, sports and heritage projects alongside community groups helping those most in need.
