A new law against drug driving coming into force today (2 March 2015) has been strongly welcomed by road safety charity Brake, which has been campaigning for the law alongside families bereaved by drug driving. A child has died following a collision in Crediton at the weekend.
The 10-year-old boy, from the Crediton area, was involved in a collision with a white Vauxhall Combo van shortly before 1.35pm on Saturday 28 February at Threshers.
