A leading South West law firm has launched a competition for talented bands in Devon – with the winner to play a slot at the Devon County Show in May this year. Stephens Scown LLP is hosting a hospitality evening at the County Show on 19 May this year, which is due to be attended by 400 guests. Flagship attraction set to open in Seaton

Seaton’s long-held dream for a flagship visitor attraction, reflecting its rightful place at the heart of the world-renowned Jurassic Coast, becomes a reality later this month with the opening of a £4m visitor centre which is expected to attract more than 60,000 people a year.

The Exeter Festival of South West Food & Drink is launching brand new wine and cheese tastings for food lovers at the annual event in Exeter Castle and Northernhay Gardens from Friday 22nd to Sunday 24th April 2016.

Sturgess bids farewell to Chiefs

Campaign aims to encourage people to report suspicions of child abuse

A third of people who suspect child abuse do nothing to report it, according to the Department for Education.

Many don't report their suspicions because they're worried about being wrong or that they're overreacting, the Government says. But in a new national campaign, being promoted locally by Devon County Council, the message is that you don't have to be absolutely certain about your suspicions before reporting them.
