Exmouth Hosts Confidential Shredding Event

Businesses and residents throughout Exmouth are invited to drop off sacks of confidential waste to be shredded for only £3 a bag at a one-day event at Exmouth Imperial car park on Wednesday 24 February, from 10am to 4pm.

The new flexible shredding service will collect, shred, recycle and provide certification for each sack of confidential waste either as a one-off purge, or as part of a regular service. It is the perfect solution for any business or individual who processes personal information, financial details, client records or databases.

Police are seeking this careless driver who ploughed into a line of traffic cones, leading to a pile-up on the A38 in Plymouth.

The hit-and-run driver was caught on camera striking the traffic cone barrier at road works near Marsh Mills. Their actions resulted in a three-vehicle collision further back on the carriageway - but fortunately no-one was seriously hurt.

Police have now released the footage in an attempt to trace the driver who left the scene without calling for help.

Exeter collector Heather Coleman has turned her passion for old clay tobacco pipes into a business and now supplies crafted clay pipes worldwide for television, film and theatre. Human rights campaigning organisation Liberty is concerned that Exeter City Council’s proposed Public Spaces Protection Order (PSPO) will criminalise the city’s most vulnerable people.
