Police were called at 1.15am on Sunday 21 August 2016 with a report of a blue BMW X5 which had left Torbay Road and driven through a barrier and then over the cliff at Corbyn headland, coming to a rest on the beach.

A woman who died in a road traffic collision on the A3079 at Thorndon Cross, Okehampton, has been named as 25 year old Marin Evans from Bradford, Holsworthy. Her family has paid a moving tribute to her.

Exeter Cathedral is set to offer a limited number of free entry specialist tours as part of this year’s Heritage Open Days.
The tours, which take place at set times between 8th and 11th September 2016, cover a range of topics relating to the Cathedral including stained glass and the historic ‘misericords’ – carved seats which date back to the 13th century.
