Wear Park Spa at Exeter Golf and Country Club is a finalist in the Spa and Well-being category of the Devon Tourism Awards – and the only one located in the Exeter area!

The spa which opened in December 2013, also won the Exeter Living Award for the Best Beauty or Hair Venue in April this year. With a double-award celebration on the horizon, the success of the spa since its launch has been unrivalled in the city and beyond.

Finalists of the Devon Tourism Awards will be presented with a bronze, silver or gold award at the ceremony and dinner which takes place on Thursday 10th November at The Great Hall, Exeter University.

Wear Park Spa offers a full range of ESPA facials and massages, Shellac and Vinylux nails and a menu of the latest beauty treatments. Spa days are also popular with guests visiting for treatments and lunch or afternoon tea in Wear Park Restaurant below the spa.

One of the unique features of the spa and restaurant is their location inside one of the city’s most historic buildings; Wear Park House which is a Georgian manor house at Exeter Golf and Country Club. Unlike most beauty salons and spas with treatment rooms in the basement or without a view, Wear Park Spa is on the first floor offering views of the golf course. The treatments rooms were created to feel luxurious and contemporary while emphasising the original architectural features.

Chris Jones, General Manager of Exeter Golf and Country Club said,

“To say we are delighted to have been selected as a finalist for the Devon Tourism Awards is a huge understatement. Wear Park Spa is small in stature but huge in impact. Although we have just three treatment rooms, we strongly believe in quality over quantity. We are so proud to have so many five-star reviews of the spa on Facebook and Trip Advisor. 2016 has been a fabulous year for us with our expansion, one of our spa therapists winning the ESPA Therapist of the Month and of course, the Exeter Living Award. Being a finalist in the Devon Tourism Awards is a huge achievement and we are looking forward to the prestigious ceremony next month.”
