Redrow, one of the UK’s leading house builders has appointed a new director at its West Country division to head up its increasingly busy Construction department.

Its new Construction Director, Andrew Hopkins, brings to Redrow 35 years’ experience gained in residential construction and business management across England and Wales from roles in both the private and public sector. Originally trained as an apprentice brick layer, Andrew moved to Redrow from Barratt David Wilson where he was a divisional construction manager.

His new role will see Andrew ensuring Redow continue to deliver consistently high standards on the company’s ambitious build programme, as well as a robust heath and safety performance and developing Redrow’s commitment to quality and customer service.

Andrew commented: “Within the industry, Redrow has a fantastic reputation for product quality and service and a company with a clear set of values which I admire, so I am delighted to be joining their West Country team. The West Country division is relatively new in the Redrow Group, and as Construction Director my aim is to maintain and develop the excellent start that has been achieved so far, whilst growing the business and achieving the company vision of being the best housebuilder in our class.”

Keith Miller, Regional Director at Redrow (West Country) commented: “We are so pleased to welcome Andrew into our West Country division – he brings a wealth of construction knowledge which we are delighted to benefit from. He joins us at a very busy and exciting time and Andrew will be a great asset. We’ve got lots in the pipeline across Devon and Cornwall and we’re currently submitting planning applications in a number of prime locations so having Andrew on our team will be invaluable.”

Redrow West Country is currently selling new homes across the region at the following locations: Bishops Court, The Harringtons, and Saxon Brook in Exeter, Stanbury Meadows and The Greens in Newton Abbot, Moorland Reach in Kingsteignton, Glenwood Park in Barnstaple, College Park in Bideford, Otter Grange in Ottery St Mary, Warren Grove and The Copse in Dawlish, Mellior Park in Pool and Vision and Hillcrest in Plymouth.
