A leading Devon law firm has won a national award for marketing for the second year in a row, and has clocked up its third national award in a month. Stephens Scown LLP, which is based in Exeter, won the Excellence in Marketing award at the Law Society Excellence Awards, which were announced in London on 20 October. The award was for the firm’s Love Where You Live campaign. Last year the firm won the same category for its Support SW Dairy Farmers campaign. The Pavey Group’s ‘Donate & Do Good Day’ for Children’s Hospice South West (CHSW) was a resounding success.

The day was held in Exeter on Tuesday 25 October and the idea was, as many busy professionals don’t have time to take their unwanted items to charity shops, the team from Pavey Group would visit the businesses to pick up collections instead!

Devon’s richest raceday takes place on Tuesday (November 1) when high class horses will be heading to Exeter Racecourse to contest the grade 2 188Bet Haldon Gold Cup.
