Registration for one of the country’s most popular cycling events, the Dartmoor Classic Sportive, opens this Saturday (5th November) when cyclists from across the globe have an opportunity to book their place on this iconic sporting event.

307 Squadron Project invites you to Exeter for a special exhibition to remember the Polish 307 Squadron RAF that defended the South West of England during the Second World War.
The exhibition 'For Your Freedom and Ours. The Story of 307 Squadron', in both English and Polish, is being held at Exeter's Guildhall between 14-16 November 2016.
At 10am on Tuesday 15 November the Lord Mayor of Exeter will raise the Polish flag over the Guildhall to remember 307 Squadron which prevented the city from being totally destroyed during the blitz of 1942. This ceremony will help promote British-Polish relations.

Tonight will see gritters out on some of Devon's major roads for the first time this winter.
Road surface temperatures are forecast to drop close to freezing in parts of the county overnight. Although conditions are dry, 19 of Devon’s 37 precautionary pre-salting routes will be treated due to the potential for hoar frost.
The main gritting activity will be focussed around Torridge, Mid, West and North Devon, and inland areas of East Devon. Other parts of the county will be monitored.

Exciting plans are being made for Exeter Pride on Saturday 13 May 2017.
It will be the biggest free celebration of the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT+) communities in the county of Devon - and is one of the first in the UK summer calendar of similar such events.
