Volunteers from Sidmouth Garden Centre , picked up their trowels last Wednesday (2 November) and headed to the Old Boat Park to complete their makeover of the entrance beds.

Accountants and financial planners Old Mill have raised more than £5,000 for Wiltshire Air Ambulance by hosting an Autumn Dinner Dance.
More than 100 people supported the black tie event, which was held at Bowood House in Calne on Saturday 15th October.

Staff and officers from Devon and Cornwall Police paid their respects to those who lost their lives at war during a ceremony today, Friday 11 November 2016.

Action packed event with countryside activities proves a big hit with local children and parents
Five Sidmouth families recently spent an action packed afternoon at East Devon’s wonderful Seaton Wetlands nature reserve, enjoying a range of fun outdoor activities organised by the council’s Countryside and Community Development services.

A new leaflet of walks in and around the Avocet Line from Exeter to Exmouth has been launched. Called “Avocet Ambles 3”, the free leaflet has been produced by the Avocet Line Rail Users’ Group with the help from the Devon and Cornwall Rail Partnership and brings together a selection of three self-guided walks, all starting from and ending at Avocet Line railway stations. Included are walks from Digby and Sowton, Newcourt and Topsham stations, all devised by members of the Rail Users’ Group committee.
