Wildwood Kin are an acclaimed anglo/americana trio from Exeter in Devon comprising of two sisters, Beth and Emillie Key and their cousin Meghann Loney. The music is a mix of their own beautiful and thought provoking original songs with a few stunning arrangements of some better known covers. Their voices meld perfectly in effortless and sublime close harmony and they accompany themselves on a range of acoustic instruments.

In 2015 the girls were shortlisted for a major BBC Radio Music Award and in 2016 their debut single Warrior Daughter spent several weeks on the Radio 2 playlist...

Gemfest is back for it’s 5th year of festival fundraising! Over £20,000 was raised for Hospiscare and The Brain Tumour Charity at the last 3 events.

Organised by local Brain Tumour ‘survivor’ and her team, there will be a day event (11am-4pm) packed with family activities topped off with a variety of live music and entertainment (see website for full line up) in the evening from 6pm. So no reason to be bored this Easter Sunday! Come and warm up for the festival season, there’s something for everyone – guaranteed. Steve Ignorant's Slice of Life

Steve Ignorant is a singer/songwriter and artist. He co-founded the anarcho-punk band Crass with Penny Rimbaud in 1977. After Crass stopped performing in 1984, he worked with groups including Conflict, Schwartzeneggar, Stratford Mercenaries, Current 93, and US punk band Thought Crime, as well as occasional solo performances.

Steve is now performing with his new band Slice Of Life. A far cry from the aggression of Crass, nevertheless compelling with powerful songs delivered in an acoustic style.

Lætitia Sadier sometimes known as Seaya Sadier is a French musician best known as the singer of the band Stereolab. Sadier was working as a nanny when she met McCarthy guitarist Tim Gane at a gig in Paris during the late 1980s. Sadier was disillusioned with the rock scene in France, and soon moved to London to be with Gane and to pursue her career. She contributed vocals to McCarthy’s final albums and when McCarthy broke up in1990 and she and Gane immediately formed the hugely influential Stereolab.

The second Yorkston/Thorne/Khan album represents a confluence of currents, among them the north Indian sarangi; jazz-tinged bass, reminiscent in places of Danny Thompson; acoustic guitar that owes a debt to Elizabeth Cotton, Dick Gaughan and Mississippi John Hurt; and three very different vocalists.
