National charity Hearing Dogs for Deaf People has announced that it will be launching a brand-new puppy socialising scheme this month in Exeter, appealing for more Volunteers to step forward and help the life-transforming charity. SYTL (Say Yes To Life) was launched in September 2016 by Sensei Paul Batters, a Japanese graded Black Belt, with the support of LED Leisure whose members train for free as beginners, then half price after their first grading.

A local man who died following a serious collision in Silverton last week has been named as Roger Tucker.
Mr Tucker died when the car he was travelling in was involved in a three-car collision on Park Road in Silverton, Devon.

Officers in Exmouth are appealing for witnesses following a burglary at a property on Cranford Avenue in Exmouth which happened between 4.30pm and 8pm on Friday 8 September 2017.
