Course improvements set to make racedays an even better experience for racing fans

Leading up to the start of this year’s summer jumps season on Easter Saturday, the team at Newton Abbot Racecourse have been hard at work implementing a number of important new improvements and changes.

Over the winter break the racecourse has invested tens of thousands of pounds in improvements both on and off the track, to better the total experience at Newton Abbot Racecourse for visitors, jockeys, owners and of courses horses alike.

Grecians take important victory at St James Park

Exeter City maintained their Sky Bet League Two promotion push as they sealed a 3-1 win over Swindon Town at St James Park.

The away side went ahead in the first half through Kaiyne Woolery, but were pegged back shortly after when Jake Taylor levelled for the Grecians.

National late night bar and club operator, The Deltic Group has today announced its acquisition of The Terrace rooftop bar and club lounge in Exeter, from its current owner for an undisclosed sum. Hundreds of men braved the plunging temperatures and snow flurries on Saturday to step it out in Hospiscare’s Men’s Walk 2018. Some 900 men – 250 more than last year – signed up for the challenge, making it Hospiscare’s most successful Men’s Walk ever.
