New teams wanted in Exeter for Tuesday evening Community 6-a-Side League

The league operates on Tuesday evenings @ ISCA ACADEMY astro pitch and is affiliated to the FA.

Qualified referees are used to officiate games and all games are 40 minutes slots. The weekly fee to play is from £4 per player and each team play 1 game per week. Fixtures and league tables are on the league website and updated on a weekly basis.

Over 100 players weekly take part in the league and any standard of player or team are welcome to join. You can sign up as team or as an individual player and individual players will be entered into a team.

Soccersixes Wednesday night 6-a-side league held at ISCA College currently holds space for up to 16 teams playing on one single night.

Why not get a group together be it through people at work or mates outside of work with an aim to be more active and support the community league in doing so.

Exeter Recycling Scheme wins National Award

Exeter City Council and Exeter City Football Club (ECFC) have won a national recycling award for their innovative scheme, Cans 4 City, which encourages Exeter football fans to recycle used drink cans while also raising money for charity.

The team behind Cans 4 City were presented with a Green Can Award by not-for-profit Every Can Counts in recognition of their outstanding recycling efforts.    

The prize-giving took place during half-time in Saturday’s match against Hartlepool United, with over 5000 fans in attendance.
