The Standard Life GB Women’s Wheelchair Basketball Team is ready to send the world a warning signal at the 2013 European Championships (Frankfurt, 28 June-8 July 2013) with a young team selected to build upon last year’s Paralympic success.

The current European Bronze Medallists, Great Britain heads to Frankfurt at the end of the month with Head Coaches Nigel Smith and Joe Jayaratne having combined a strong mix of experience and fresh blood to create a formidable future threat.

Chiefs set to face European Champions

Exeter Chiefs will play host to the reigning Heineken Cup champions Toulon following today's draw held at the Aviva Stadium in Dublin.

Exeter City urges fans to set their ‘Grecian Goal’

Grecian Goal are looking for more pledgers to join their movement, in order to help Exeter City Football Club raise cash for projects – and to help add to the £7,000 that they have already collected for a series of specific ventures for the club. Currently Grecian Goal has around 40 members, who contribute funds in a bingo-style fashion and have some fun in doing it. Exeter City celebrate diversity with international football tournament

Following the huge success of last weekend’s Respect Festival in Exeter, which was attended by 22,500 people, Exeter City is backing the annual One Game One Community tournament, which celebrates diversity in the local community, on Sunday 9 June 2013.

The competition, now in its ninth year, encourages participation from local black and minority ethnic teams and attracts players from many different parts of the world. Past winners include sides representing Poland, Slovakia, Afghanistan and Lithuania.

Exeter City Football Club has announced that fan Nick Saunders has been elected to the board of national charity Level Playing Field (LPF) as an executive trustee. Hundreds of kids enjoy football in the sun

165 teams, over 1300 kids and two glorious days of sunshine descended on Feniton this weekend, for Exeter City’s 11th annual 6-a-side youth tournament.

The event, jointly hosted by the Exeter City’s Academy and their Football in the Community Charitable Trust, saw hundreds of youngsters enjoying a festival of football over two sun-kissed days at Feniton Football Club. The three pitches were quartered up into 6-a-side playing fields, as the youngsters from age groups ranging from under-7 to under-15 took part in Devon’s showpiece youth tournament of the summer.
