Till the Coast is Clear is a Social Enterprise working with businesses such as Coastal Recycling. Its focus is to clear the hard to reach places along our coastlines of plastic and rubbish that otherwise would go un-seen and un-touched.

A church in Exeter is launching a new afternoon service and is inviting people of all ages and backgrounds to come and explore the Christian faith, perhaps for the first time.

Rediscover Church in Northernhay Street, Exeter already has 2 morning services on a Sunday at 9.30am and 11.30am welcoming hundreds of people from all walks of life through its doors. They also stream live online to a local and international audience.

Now they are launching a new 2.30pm service, beginning 28th April, where there is an opportunity for people to come along and explore the big questions...

Established in 2006, Exeter Contemporary Open has come to be recognised as one of the UK’s most prominent regional contemporary arts competitions, culminating in an annual exhibition at Exeter Phoenix. Exeter Contemporary Open provides an important national platform for contemporary visual art, with an emphasis on supporting emerging talent alongside more established artists many of whom have gone on to receive significant national and international acclaim.

The Easter holidays can prove a challenge when it comes to finding fun activities for the children. Pets at Home has the answer, with its free interactive ‘My Pet Pals’ workshops, held in store between 6th April – 28th April 2019.

The workshops will focus on caring for small furries, such as guinea pigs, gerbils and rabbits, teaching children the responsibilities of owning them but also how rewarding these pets can be and how to care for them. Children will also learn how to interact with them safely too.
