Guitar indie-pop band Pale Waves and Mercury-nominated The Big Moon are the latest acts heading to the south Devon countryside for the county’s biggest music event this summer.

The bands are joining the line-up for seven-time GRAMMY Award winning Canadian / American artist Alanis Morissette ’s headline show with special guest musical powerhouse Skunk Anansie at TK Maxx presents Live At Powderham on Friday June 26.

Civic Leaders send messages of support for Wembley-bound Grecians

Civic leaders have sent messages of support to Exeter City Football Club as the Grecians attempt to win promotion to League Division One at Wembley tonight (Monday 29 June).

Hospital doctors in Devon urge patients to attend appointments

People in Devon are being reassured there are extensive measures in place to keep them safe when attending hospital, as doctors urge patients to make sure they take up appointments.

Many services were suspended to free up beds and staff for COVID-19 patients, but as the number of cases falls across Devon and nationwide, hospitals in the county are increasing the number of urgent and routine appointments for non-COVID illnesses.

These include tests and scans which help diagnose illnesses, allowing patients to begin potentially life-saving treatment.
