Tenpin Exeter prepares to unveil its striking new look for 2026

One of the UK’s premier entertainment destinations, Tenpin, is pleased to announce that the refurbishment of Tenpin Exeter is scheduled for completion on March 27th, 2026.

The Exeter team is excited to share its transformation, which will be packed with bigger and better entertainment than previously seen. Designed to offer unforgettable experiences for family days out, social get-togethers and celebrations, customers will be able to enjoy several brand-new attractions.

The updated venue will feature 26 state-of-the-art bowling lanes, alongside two new private karaoke rooms equipped with thousands of songs that guests can unleash their singing potential in. Those looking to change the pace can let off steam at Tenpin Exeter’s new laser tag arena, which brings an adrenaline-fuelled, interactive 4d experience to people of all ages.

For those wanting to test their aim, two new interactive darts boards host 11 games for customers to play. The adventures can continue in one of three new escape rooms, offering a puzzle-based experience and putting teamwork to the test against the clock. For younger customers, a brand new soft play area takes centre stage, promising a fun day out for the whole family.

Among the new additions are also five American pool tables and a fantastic arcade area with a mix of classics and modern-day favourites. Worked up a thirst? Guests can enjoy affordable cocktails while dining on stylish new furniture, and sports fans will be able to keep up with all the live action as TNT and Sky Sports will be shown across the centre.

Dave Aldridge, General Manager at Tenpin said: “This refurbishment has been one of our biggest projects. The site is much larger than before, meaning we’re able to significantly scale operations and provide plenty of new and exciting entertainment for customers, including our new soft play area with capacity for 187 kids. We’re not just about bowling lanes at Tenpin, customers can experience laser tag, karaoke, escape rooms, and interactive darts all under one roof. There’s truly something for everyone to enjoy, and we can’t wait for the people of Exeter to see just how wonderful the new changes are.”
