Exeter University student Lily Harris had an unexpected surprise when she was chosen by Exeter Airport to help celebrate its one millionth passenger milestone.

Lily, 20, had just flown in from Paris with Flybe when she was met by airport managing Director Matt Roach and presented with a bottle of champagne and flowers as a thank you for helping Exeter Airport to reach one million passengers in the last 12 months.

South West holidaymakers looking to fly from Exeter Airport have even more choice for sunshine destinations in Summer 2020.

The return of Gran Canaria in the Canary Islands with TUI, and now twice weekly flights to the Greek Islands of Corfu and Zante, and Antalya on Turkey’s Turquoise Coast, are among more than 35 international and domestic routes available from Exeter Airport.

Seaton Tramway and Lundy Island, two very different and unique heritage attractions in Devon, have now introduced special tours aimed explicitly at Deaf British Sign Language (BSL) users.
