One of Devon's largest holiday park operators, Park Holidays UK, says bookings have "avalanched" in the run-up to the re-opening of its six major parks in the county.

The group says it is having to deal with holiday requests on a "first come, first served" basis as families get ready to enjoy their first taste of real freedom in months.

Loganair set to fly from Exeter for first time

Loganair today announced that it will fly from Exeter Airport for the first time from the start of July.

Included are routes from Exeter to Edinburgh commencing on July 6, and to Newcastle starting on July 20. A one-stop service to Aberdeen via Newcastle also starts on that date.
