CEDA is a charity based in Exeter that works with adults and young people with disabilities, looking to provide social opportunities and experiences to those that at times can be isolated from the community due to their additional support needs.

BIS-net is a newly launched branch of CEDA, funded by the National Lottery Reaching Communities fund. It stands for Behaviour Interventions Support Network and will look to increase provision in the local area for those families supporting and individual with their behaviour.

Children are being moved too many times between foster families because of the need for more foster carers across the UK, the Fostering Network is warning today with the publication of new survey results. The survey found that in the last two years three in five foster carers (61 per cent) have cared for children who have previously had two or more moves between homes. Two in five (43 per cent) have looked after at least one child who has been moved four or more times, while one in ten (11 per cent) have cared for children who have had ten or more moves before coming to live with them....

Exeter City are delighted to announce that the club has been awarded the Family Excellence Award by the Football League. The announcement was made at St Andrew’s, the home of Birmingham City, on Wednesday 8 May. Each of the 72 Football League clubs receives two visits a year from a mystery family who judge the club on more than 70 supporter touch-points on a matchday.
