
Play for free in Princesshay this summer
Princesshay has unveiled its line-up of summer activities, including PrincessPlay; a free playground, alongside the return of its Independent Market, street food traders and live music for visitors to enjoy in the heart of Exeter.
The start of the school holidays will see the main square transformed into PrincessPlay an all age playground and pitstop with grass and seating to create a place where people can stop, relax and spend time together while enjoying a range of free activities including table tennis, mini golf, giant chess, hopscotch, snakes and ladders and climbing equipment.
Eastgate and Bedford Street will welcome a sweet selection of flavours with Whisked, serving a delicious selection of brownies and bakes, alongside British Fudge and a chocolate and strawberries kiosk.
The Independent Market will return from Monday 1st August opposite Oliver Bonas in the main mall with brand new names and returning favourites including Wonky Pots by Dawn, Harper and May, SB Bakes and Retro Rail selling tasty treats and unique finds on a rotating mix throughout the month.
Visitors will also be able to enjoy live music every Saturday in August between 11am and 3pm from acts including Rhiannon Lewis and Blush Duo, alongside extra weekend street food and drink traders including Maker-a-Matcha, F&J Topsy Trailer and Big Kebabski.

We want Princesshay to be somewhere people choose to spend time this summer and make the most of everything happening across the centre.”
