The Vue cinema has leapt to the rescue of frantic parents who are trying to find ways to amuse their children across the summer holidays. The latest film in the Thomas and Friends adventures is called King of the Railway and is being aired exclusively at Vue cinemas only.

The film, which follows the team as they head off on their journey to try and find new friend Stephen, will be available to view from 23 August. Parents will also be thrilled to hear that the tickets will not leave too big a tent on the purse strings, as the ticket cost starts from just £4.50.

A spokesperson from Vue Entertainment says: ‘’We are delighted to be the only cinema chain showing Thomas & Friends; King of the Railway on the big screen up and down the country.’'

‘’We love providing fun and accessible activities for families, especially something they can enjoy come rain or shine.’’

‘’Not only is this the ideal way to keep the kids entertained but this is a fantastic film for the whole family to enjoy together.’’

Tickets to Thomas & Friends; King of the Railway are on sale now and can be booked at www.myvue.com.
