Moms are our best friends and often remain that one person we can run to when the world turns its back on us. Even though your mom thinks that you're in a bad place and you shouldn't get her anything for her birthday or even Mother's day, which is around the corner, you still want to remind her that she matters. You may also have another great person that's a mother figure, or maybe you're the mom! Every mom deserves a present, and this list should give you ideas that will help you make her day:

A tea subscription box

All moms love their warm beverages, most especially teas. If you can get her a monthly tea subscription box, she will most likely say a prayer with every sip. Subscription boxes are excellent as they will deliver up to four new teas to her home every month. Be sure to include her favorite flavors, or a chamomile tea box if she seems stressed.

Temperature control smart mug

This gift will come in handy if she loves her coffee or tea hot, but often forgets that she was taking it in the first place. The smart mug will keep her drink warm at 120-145⁰F at all times, enabling her to enjoy her drink.

Handbag

If your mom is a working machine (very few moms aren't), then she's most likely carrying a bag that's peeling along the straps and is almost as old as her career. Consider updating her daily tote with something upbeat and beautiful. If you want to spoil a new mom, get her a stylish diaper bag to replace the monstrosity she carries around. Handbags are a huge part of a woman's life. Ensure you get her a bag that provides her as much function as her old one does. For instance, partitions and space, and of course, in color and material she will appreciate.

Snow boots

A nice, well-fitting pair of snow boots is the perfect gift for a mom living in an icy place or simply hates winter. Snow boots are the perfect multi-purpose pair of shoes, as they are robust, and are versatile enough to be worn with jeans, leggings, cute dresses, and snowy pants. Snow boots will provide her with both utility and style, which will be boosted if you get them in a color she loves.

Some stylish jewelry

Every mom loves a great pair of earrings or a necklace, and her birthday is just as good a time as any to spoil her with a stylish statement piece like jewelry lab rings. Ensure you make the jewelry something she can wear comfortably to church or with her friends for a dinner party without feeling like she's being watched. Most moms may not enjoy putting on makeup as they did before, but jewelry is the one way they can always use to pump up their outfits.

Hobby subscription

Does your mom need a break from her dreary schedule that oscillates between work and home every single day? Remind her how good one of her hobbies feels by getting her a weekend subscription to something she loves. You can sign her up for a pottery class or painting, or even get her a canvas and paint for her to paint at home. Also, attend a music festival with her, or watch a movie in a genre she enjoys. If possible, enjoy the hobby with her to provide partnership and a fun way for you to bond.

Pajamas

Most moms sleep in old tees and tired pairs of sweats or tracksuits that honestly have no business being in their house. Your mom deserves to sleep in a nice and elegant pair of jams every night. Spoil her with a comfy and soft pair of pajamas that will make nap or sleep time that much more special. Complement the jams with a nice silk sleep mask to help her fall asleep faster and more comfortably.

Essential oils and oil diffuser

If your mom wants her home to smell like a palace without having to inhale toxic fumes, then essential oils are the way to go. Essential oils are distillates from plants with high medicinal significance, which makes them safe for use. If she seems stressed or is struggling with insomnia, lavender oils should help her sleep like a baby. Tea tree oils should help with any cold she may be having. There are so many other essential oil options that you can introduce her to, all of which will make her home and health so much better.

A skincare routine set

Let your mom pamper herself every morning and night before she goes to bed by getting her high-quality set of skincare products. Many reputable brands offer varying products she can use, ranging from a face wash, scrub, cleanser, and toner. Before you go shopping for these, know her allergies, look out for fakes, and know her skin type. The last thing you want is to give someone with dry skin and oil-free moisturizer. Also, get her products that she can readily access and afford once your set runs out if she loves it.

A set of personalized knives and chopping boards

Moms love the kitchen, and there's no better gift than a replacement of her set of knives, which are probably worn from too much sharpening. Even better, the gift will come in handy if she loves to cook and often hosts dinner parties and luncheons.

A personalized blanket

All moms love blankets, especially personalized ones. Make her blanket super special by having photos of her grandchildren scattered on it, or even those of your entire family. You can also get her a chunky-knit blanket that she will use to cover up in winter and for decor in the summer.

A chiropractic pillow

Your mom may have spent years working in a place where she didn't have the ergonomic chair you may be having, and it may have started taking a toll on her body. If your mom is having problems with aches and pains, then this pillow will make for something remarkably helpful. She can use this pillow while watching TV or relaxing on the sofa to reduce her discomfort as the pillow aligns the spine, thus reducing neck pain.

Pet supplies

If your mom is also a cat or dog mom, save her the month’s supplies’ costs, and she will thank you. She most probably loves her pets with all her heart and provides them with the best medical care, diet, cleaning, and other facilities. Ask her what brands of food, litter, shampoo, and other products that she prefers to use, or peek into her cabinets. She will appreciate the fact that you care for her pets as well.

A portable hand warmer

Most moms have a particularly hard time in the winter with their hands, especially their knuckles. Reduce her discomfort this winter by getting her a portable hand warmer complete with a power bank. The power bank should help keep the machine powered up, but will also charge her smartphone or tablet, so she can keep up with her friends at all times. Most moms wake up early to fix breakfast, and the hand warmer will make waking up that much less painful.

A white noise accessory

New moms are often stressed, overwhelmed, and often feel like everyone’s focus is on her child and not her. If you're gifting a new mom, a white noise accessory will have her squealing with delight. If properly used, it should help her and her little one sleep better.

A pair of light dumbbells or exercise gear

Encourage your mom to keep going with her decision to work out more by getting her a nice set of exercise gear. She may not feel well about going to a gym and working out with all the other younger people, but she will most likely appreciate a yoga mat, some light weights, and a comfortable pair of sneakers.

A kitchen appliance

Has your mom's blender broken down? Or, would she like a new grill to explore the recipes she keeps watching on her food channel? Moms love to rave about the blender she wants or a new oven, and you probably already know which appliance will truly make her day because she can't stop talking about it!

A root cover-up kit

Most moms are often late to visit the salon, making their grey roots start to show. Make her mornings less hassling by spoiling her with a root cover-up kit. A color-up kit will provide complete coverage over her grey or white roots, so that she looks pristine without any crustiness or dryness. Talk of useful!

A book for her collection

What's your mom's favorite novel genre? Spoil her with a stack of books that you believe she will love, or send her something you've read and truly enjoyed. Thanks to you, her book club will hear of nothing else the whole year.
