Cheekily named theatre company ‘Gone to the Dogs Productions’ is bringing a kids’ show about democracy to the Exeter Fringe on 1 stAugust.

Performing at The Barnfield Theatre, the hour-long play called ‘Rox, Paper and The Scissors’ is aimed at 9+years and aims to get children to think about democracy, and why or how we vote.

A live broadcast of the award-winning Fleabag will be coming to the big screen in Vue Exeter this September courtesy of National Theatre.

The one-woman play, written by and starring Phoebe Waller-Bridge, was the inspiration for the phenomenally successful BBC television show of the same name, and has now returned to the West End after a sold-out New York run.

Staff at the state-of-the-art veterinary hospital at the international animal welfare charity The Donkey Sanctuary will feature on the CBBC show ‘The Pets Factor’ this Friday 19 July. The show will be aired at 9.05am and repeated later in the day at 4.35pm.

The work of a local tapestry artist has been selected for a prestigious international exhibition in London and Nottingham.

Tapestry weaver Christine Sawyer from Exeter has had ‘Split Detail’ selected for Heallreaf 2019 where there are 40 exhibitors from all over the world. The exhibition runs from September 7 to 21 at Surface Gallery, Nottingham and then from October 15 to 26 at Espacio Gallery, London.
